Personal Info

Silvia joined Coldwell Banker in 2004, after 10 years in finance and strategic planning at top companies such as Lucasfilm, Disney and Goldman Sachs, and 4 years consulting to start-ups in the interior design industry.  Within her first year in the San Francisco Real Estate market, she rose to become a Top Producing agent in her office.  Several years later she reached the Top 3% of Coldwell Banker sales agents worldwide.  In 2007, Silvia was asked to join the company's premier office:  TRI-Coldwell Banker.

She is a Native to the Bay Area, and earned her degree from U.C. Berkeley in International Political Economy.  While she had a brief stint working in residential real estate during college, she moved to the east coast to work at the World Bank after graduating in 1990.   She returned to California to get her MBA from UCLA and went to work as a Mexico Housing Analyst for Goldman Sachs in 1994.  This gave her a unique perspective on how demographics, mortgage availability, interest rates, and the economy all impact housing prices.

Silvia later returned to California to work in Finance at Disney, and in 1999 she was recruited by LucasFilm to head up their Finance department.  She was finally back home in San Francisco!  After a few more years in the corporate world, she left to consult to small businesses in the interior design industry.  In 2004 she finally returned to what she enjoys the most:  helping people buy and sell one of the most important assets they could own - a home.

She has lived in DC, NY, LA, Spain and Mexico City, and has travelled to over 40 countries.  All that jetsetting to realize that her heart is truly here, in San Francisco.

Aside from her interest in Real Estate, Silvia strongly believes in giving back to the community.  She is the on the Board of Friends of Larkin Street Youth Services, for which she recently co-hosted their first Annual Gala at the Fairmont Hotel and raised over $30,000 to support the charity.  Silvia is also a big supporter of Childhelp.com, Edgewood Center for Children, and is a mentor to a high school student through Students Rising Above.
